Today was a big day of firsts for Addie: first time sitting up in the bath, first time sitting in chair at the table, and first time swinging at the park. Unfortunately, only one of these events was caught on tape via my iphone (though bath pics can be seen here)

Big Boy Bed

Last month, Sam and I built his new big boy bed. He was a huge help, and he loves his new bed. Check out this slideshow of our project.

Finally, new pics and some posts!

Ok, when you combine 2 kids, mild exhaustion, a dose of laziness and a hard winter followed by an early spring, well, you get very few posts on this blog. Apologies. But, now you get a whole bunch of new pictures on the right or see them bigger by clicking here!

So what's new? Well, Sam is sleeping in a big boy bed (see upcoming post for the construction pics) and speaking in sentences. He knows the power of "please" and is able to tug on our heart strings whenever he wants something (which is often). After a couple of rocky weeks following the start of day care, Sam has completely adjusted. In fact, he often doesn't want to leave when we pick him up. He is a 2 year old in every sense of it.

Addie has grown dramatically over the last 3 months. She is sleeping well, except when she decides not to, has started sitting up, rolls over, coos and googles with the best of them, and loves her jolly jumper. She is having a lot of fun these days playing with toys, watching her brother play, and generally being adorable at all times. What a joy.

Lucy and I are doing well. We could use more sleep, but I don't think we could be much happier. Now if we could just find more time to post to this blog... :)
