Back from Maine

Yesterday we returned from a week-long trip to Maine where we attended a beautiful wedding on Peaks Island off of Portland. Then it was half a week at Poland Springs, known for its shuffle board and bingo. The big news of the trip is that Lucy thinks she felt the first kicks of our baby. I may have even felt one last night when we returned home. It was really exciting to think of our little guy (or gal) in there exercising those leg muscles. We've got an appointment with midwife next week and will ask if she think those were in fact kicks or just gas. Stay tuned!

I just got to Maine on the 10th. Still here, dancing all around Acadia. Where did you go? I'll be posting photos next week. :)

No one ever forgets those first butterfly flutters that ripple across your abdomin. (where is spell check?) It isn't gas but that new life stirring and finally big enough for you to feel.
ENJOY

Our Maine trip was focused around Portland over the weekend and then Poland Springs (~40 miles NW of Portland) for the rest of the trip.
